VPI Shelved starting today

A hard decision was reached by me today, I have decided to shelve Victim Protection, Inc. until there is some type of funding found to operate each month and there are a number of women volunteers that will help run the organization. I will finish up the work with our last victim to get her thru the stalking trail process and then we will no longer take any clients at all.

I have fought hard for almost 3 years to keep this going with less than $3,000.00 being donated in that time, most of our money came from those of us that are part of the organization, nothing came from grants or outside organizations no matter how hard we tried to get them to help us. We have not had enough women support the work either so that has been a problem, we needed board members, advocates and such, none were there, so we have to close until something can be done.

We wish all the organizations and people we worked with over the last 3 yrs. on this, the best of luck int their endeavors and futures, to those that worked with us, thank you for all you’ve done. So we say goodbye until something changes or we just fade into the dark.

  1. I just ran across your website and it is sad to see it shut down. I find it interesting that you “question” the problem right here in Colorado. It may be everywhere, however, we are a small group of women fighting major corruption in Colorado for years. Acts of violence against women and children are promoted in Colorado Springs on a regular basis. Violations of civil rights are astronomical. COVA needs to be shut down. Kelley Kissell was promoted to the state level. Over seven appearances in front of city council regarding brutal rapes, serious injuries that require long-term hospitalization and arsons, just to name a few.

These so-called individuals that are robbing the United States government for funding need to be put behind bars.

Whatever happened to LEADERSHIP, RESPONSIBILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND CHANGE? It starts right here in our own backyard!! These people that call themselves “victim advocates” are an insult to the injured. We have watched them deny the rights of women, especially one that has endured an incredible amount of serious major crimes to her body, to say the least. The public officials in our state promote violence and allow these criminals to operate for reasons of personal gain. These so-called women in our victim services of denied this woman of all and ANY rights. Why? They claim there was never a crime. The amount of blacked-out police reports and paper trail is overwhelming.

Interestingly, along comes a federal judge that awards disability in the court room in less than 10 minutes as a result of sexual assault.

Fear is a powerful tool and the people of Colorado deserve what they have coming.

    God Bless us All
